Applicants should possess a degree or higher diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Social work, Social Science, or other related disciplines. Experienced social service professionals are preferred. He/She should have a high proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese) and good communication skills. They should be able to work independently and, in a team, and be self-motivated.

The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in the Jockey Club SMART Family-Link Project under the Department of Computer Science. The project aims to promote family well-being by leveraging data science for social goods. He/she will be responsible on developing emerging data science technologies (e.g. geo-AI and NLP etc.) for the data analytic platform, and co-create technologies with the NGO partners, and other duties as assigned.
